In this tutorial I will show you how to draw an open book step by step. Books are very essential parts of our lives, since our childhood they taught us about all the queries we had and will have in around us. There is no best friend like a book. When we are alone they become our good companions. Whenever we want some information they give us a detailed inquiry about any topic.
Step1: First of all draw the two curved lines, start from the center so draw one curved line on the left side and one on the right side, same as shown in the reference image. This will be our base on which we will draw the further lines in next steps.
Step2: In the further proceedings we will draw the diagonal line from the left side which will start from the previous curved line, after the diagonal line there is a one more small diagonal line. Then there will be a curved line again on the top of the book. Draw the second curved line on the top of the book. Then on the right side two diagonal lines come one is big ang the next is small which will join the right side curved line which we drew in the previous step.
Step3: Now draw the front open pages of the book, for this start from the bottom there in the center of two curved lines, a small diagonal line will be sketched which afterwards joined by a big diagonal line reached from the center to top curved lines. Then by joining curve and diagonal line as shown in the reference image complete the red highlighted area.
Step4: Draw the cover of the book which is highlighted with red. For this sketch two lines making the angle on the left side then in the middle draw a curve. After this, finish it with the right side diagonal line and the smaller one on the vertical side.
Step5: Now add one flap page on the right side, for this draw a rectangle from the top center of the book and end up with the end of the page on the left side. The rectangle will be broad from the top, it is somehow tricky to draw the flap page but after practice you will successfully achieve it.
Step6: Wow, you sketched your open book. You can draw anything or write whatever you want in your open book, it’s really fun. So set a table and keep your book on it or you can draw the background of your choice.
