Hey friends here we will learn how to draw a tomato step by step. Tomato is one of the fruits which has a sweet and sour taste , you cook it or eat fresh, it always soothes the taste buds.
Its color attracts most. Tomato ketchup we all know from kids to old people of all generations like it most.
As the tomato attracts most to increase the appetite in the same way artists’ eyes catch this beautiful one to add them in their artwork. So let’s draw it without waiting.
Step1: Draw the circle first so in the coming steps we will draw the detailing of it to convert it from circle to tomato. Let’s move to the next step.
Step2: In this step we will draw the curve lines, it is the pressed part of the tomato on which we will draw the stalk and leaves.
So draw the stalk for which you have to draw the funnel shape which has an oval on its top. Keep a reference image in front of you to get a better idea.
Step3: Now it’s your turn to sketch the leaves for which you have to draw two leaves on the right side and two on the left side of the stalk.
The upper leaf will be bigger than the lower leaf. You should be more focused while drawing the detailing of the tomato so everything will be drawn in the right position.
Step4: We have successfully completed our tomato but if you see the final image it has one more half tomato kept near the whole tomato.
So for sketching the half tomato we will draw the upper part of the half tomato first.
So draw the two half circles joined with each other, inside it, draw the two jointed half circles again then draw the oblong shape in the middle and then draw the droplet shape for the seed four on each side of the oblong.
Step5 : Now draw the lower part of the half tomato which is round so start sketching it from left to right side.
Remember that the part of the front side of the whole tomato will be erased where the half cutted tomato is placed.
Step6 : This step is to bring our tomatoes to life. So color it with any shade of red, green and yellow.
