how to draw a mountain step by step

In this tutorial I will show you how to draw mountains in a few easy steps. Mountains are the tallest part of land with sharp points from the top. They are the strong rockiest material. They are an important part of the landscape. They also increase the beauty of nature.

Step1: For drawing the mountain we will draw the outline of the whole mountain then we will draw cuts and edges and shades to increase its realistic approach. So draw the basis shape of mountains  same as given in the reference image.

Step2: After drawing the basic shape for the mountain I’m going to add one more mountain at the back of the first shape to show the real landscape and for increasing the beauty of them. So draw the other one mountain which I have highlighted with red in the reference image.

Step3: To give the mountain the beautiful look I add one more mountain on the left side. Whenever you want a mountain in your scenery you like to draw it in a way that it should be adjusted with your project so after learning these simple steps you will be able to create them according to your need.

Step4: We have drawn the outer shapes of mountains nicely, they are drawn in such an artistic way that by adding some more details in them they will give the look of real mountains. Draw the shade inside the front mountains as I have shown in the reference image with the red highlighted area.

Step5: Now again we are drawing some more shades to enhance the depth of the mountains. Our mountains are completed if you want to give the appearance of an icy mountain so add some ice in shades.

Step6:  For giving the most natural and artistic look I have added sea and Sun with my mountain image, but it is optional for you. You can add the same or greenery or the land part around the mountain. You can also add the sunset it’s on your choice.

Step7: Last but not least to bring your mountain life, you can add different shades of brown. You can also show it snowy I mean you can select the color and background according to your project demand.
