The Lily flower seems quite delicate, whether you are keeping it at home or setting it outside in a bush. The attractiveness of this flower makes you affectionate. Drawing a lily is easy if you are following every step of how to draw it.
Step1: When we will be drawing a flower we will start from the beginning with the easy step by sketching its first petal. For this you have to draw the petal as I have shown in the reference image.
Step2: After drawing the first petal successfully, draw the second as I highlighted with red in the reference image. To sketch a flower is a little challenging but visualizing it thoroughly and giving time to practice make it perfect.
Step3: Now draw the third petal which should be a little curved from the top section and then again little curve from right side and diagonal from the left side then close it from bottom.
Step4: Till the previous we have completed the half part of lily now we will complete it fully by adding the three more petals as I shown with the highlighted area in the reference image. They are curved lines somewhere diagonal also. So by carefully drawing , practicing and adjusting every petal with each other you will successfully complete your lily nicely.
Step5: It’s time to draw the inner details of the lily, so add pistil and stamen in your flower to give it the real look. So in the middle we have a pistil, the long triangle upside down on which a circle on the top. With that the stamens the long lines with the tiny ovals on the top. Then sketch some curved lines inside the flower which I have shown in the reference image.
Step6: After done with the all detailing part of flowers. We will move to the lower part to sketch the stalk, leaves and bud of the flower. The stalk should be slightly curved and narrow from the upper side and broad from the bottom. Then sketch the leaves with sharp points from the top and lastly the beautiful bud.
Step7: Although lilies come in various colors but I filled white in it because it attracts me most. You can select the same one or change the color with your choice. You also have to decide your background. It’s all your creativity and your artistic approach.
