Hey friends today we will learn how to draw a castle step by step. A castle was a big building, built with strong rocks, it was used to protect the people living in it. It was built in a different way as compared to the present time construction. That’s why today’s people seem more interested in exploring it. Drawing castles is fun, we will draw pillars, doors, windows, galleries and many more things in it in few easy steps.
Step1:In ancient times people built castles to show their nobility and to protect themselves from the enemy, so the entrance they made was very strong.
Draw the rectangle as a barbican and then the front gate that is portcullis.
Step2:Today we also see castles which are used for tourism purposes.
Now we will draw the two towers I have shown with the red highlighted area.
Tower in the ancient time was used to look out and to see the enemies from far.
Step3: Drawbridge is the important part of a castle which gives way to go inside the castle which was surrounded by moat.
In step three I have added the upper parts of towers and the windows.
Step4:Castle treasury is stored in the lower part of the castle that is called the basement.
Now we are adding galleries in towers. Our towers are completed here.
Step5: In the ancient time people were doing their own safety for their treasures and their life so they built these different kinds of buildings with strong rocks, they chose the place which is surrounded by water or up on hills..
Now we are drawing the keep. I have highlighted it with red color .This was used as the last refuge from the enemy in ancient times.
Step6:Malbork is the largest castle which is located in the Poland. By adding the gallery with keep as I have shown in the reference image , we have finished up the castle drawing.
Step7: There is a great relation between drawing and coloring. When you draw something you have a wish to give it final touch with the help of color.
So you can also make it more prominent and wonderful by adding the color. Further you can also add the water or moat around the castle building. You can also draw the soldiers around the castle, have fun with your explorations.
